It is the second largest manufacturer of Machine tools in India. It is well known for the unique Gold and Silver jewellery ornaments.

Local Language is Gujarati. People mostly understand Hindi. English is common amongst the educated class.

June is one of the most pleasant months to Visit Rajkot.
There are no Rains and the Temperature usually remains between 12 – 25 C.
